Tips for Traveling

MONEY
Some Cash – Dollars, usually American Traveller cheques, the credit card only in case of
emergency, because when you use this card you have to pay 10% surcharge.
In Venezuela, sometimes the rate of change on the street and the official rate of change
are different till to 50%. The cash dispenses are often not accessible, too.

INSURANCES
Travel insurance, that depends accident insurance

LUGGAGE
You have to take with long, light clothes bercause of the mosquitos. You should avoid
dark clothes because the mosquitos love dark clothes and during the day when the sun
is shining these clothes are too hot.
Precious things like a camera you should take with in the hand luggage or they should be
on the bottom of your luggage and if it´s possible you should close it with a padlock because
during internal flights there were many little thefts.
